    Encrypting Sitecore Database Connection Strings

    In ASP.NET systems it is usually possible to encrypt your connections strings on a live server without having to make changes to your code. I say "usually" because it will only work if your development team has followed best practice when accessing the strings.

    Of course Sitecore does follow best practice so we can easily encrypt our strings.
