This Policy covers only data collected through the Site and not other data collection or processing, including, without limitation, data collection practices of other web pages to which we link or data that we collect offline or through websites, products, or services that do not display a direct link to this Policy. Occasionally, we may refer to this Policy in notices and consent requests related to surveys and special-purpose web pages.

FuseIT follows the principals of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

However, we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. It is your responsibility to safeguard any password and User ID you use to access the site and to notify us through info@fuseit.com if you ever suspect that this password or User ID has been compromised. You are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of the site conducted via your password and User ID.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. What information is collected

Information you submit. When you complete a web form to request information, subscribe to or order a product or service, register as a user, respond to an online survey or otherwise actively send us data, we usually collect it so we can respond. In connection with chargeable services, we may also collect payment information, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses. In each such instance, you will know what data we collect through the site, because you actively submit it.

Information we automatically collect. As part of the standard operation of the Site, we may collect information from your computer or mobile device, including but not limited to your browser type, operating system, IP address and the domain name from which you accessed the site, and if you are accessing our site with your mobile device, type of mobile device. In addition, we may collect information about how you use our Sites, such as the date and time you visit the Site, the areas or pages of the Site that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing the Site, the number of times you return to the Site and other click-stream data. To collate and visualize this information we may allow our web analytics partners to set or access their cookies or web beacons (also referred to as 1x1 pixel.gifs or action tags) on the Site.

  • To respond to a contact request. This is usually because completed a web form requesting a demo of our products or need to discuss our services.
  • To respond to a support call for one of our products.
  • To periodically send informative emails about new products, or other information that relate to your interests using the email address you have provided

  • To administer, protect and improve our Site and our systems

Where we store and process data

We keep regular PII data in the following secure places:

  • Salesforce.com (lead and contact records - often created from web form submissions)
  • Google forms (requests for product demos and other forms) 
  • ZenDesk (forums and support information)

Controlling your personal information

FuseIT never sell, share, or rent personal information gathered from web forms.

You can choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

  • When filling in a web form, use the Receive email updates checkbox to determine if FuseIT can use the form information for email updates or marketing purposes.
  • When filling in a web form, use the GDPR compliance checkbox to determine if FuseIT can store any information. If you do not check this box, your form will not submit so you will need to email or phone FuseIT to establish contact.
  • If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at info@fuseit.com.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you - please email to info@fuseit.com. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

By consenting to this privacy notice, you are giving us permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified. Consent is required for FuseIT to process both types of personal data (regular and sensitive) but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive data, we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for adults. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect, personally-identifiable information from children under the age of 13 and we request that individuals under the age of 13 not submit any personal information on the site.

Amendments

We reserve the right to change this Policy from time to time and in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time, but will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on the Policy the date it was last updated. When you visit the Site, you are accepting the current version of this Policy as posted on the Site at that time. We recommend that users revisit this Policy on occasion to learn of any changes.
